  1. Overview
    This Privacy Policy explains how Wembury LLC ("Care Homies") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information, including information protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) when applicable. This Policy applies to our websites, portals, and communications (including SMS, email, and phone).

  2. Information We Collect
    (a) Identifiers (name, address, email, phone); (b) Account and subscription details; (c) Service request details; (d) Payment details processed by secure third‑party processors; (e) Communications metadata and content (including SMS and call records); (f) Device and usage data (cookies, IP, logs); (g) Health‑related information you choose to share for service delivery (PHI).

  3. Sources of Information
    We collect information directly from you, authorized caregivers, service providers, and automated means (cookies, pixels), and, when needed, from third parties to fulfill your requests (e.g., pharmacies, transportation platforms).

  4. How We Use Information
    To provide and personalize Services; coordinate shopping, pharmacy pickup, transportation, and home services; send reminders and updates (including SMS); process payments; ensure security; perform analytics and quality assurance; comply with law; and communicate with you.

  5. Sharing of Information
    We share information with trusted vendors solely to fulfill your requests (e.g., Amazon, Uber Health/Uber Eats, Thumbtack, pharmacies, and local providers). We do not sell personal information. Where PHI is involved, we act as a HIPAA Business Associate and use Business Associate Agreements or equivalent safeguards where required.

  6. SMS and Limited PHI
    With your consent, we may send messages that include limited personal or health information needed to provide Services. Messages are transmitted via a HIPAA‑compliant messaging platform, but no electronic method is entirely risk‑free. By opting in, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

  7. Cookies & Tracking
    We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for authentication, analytics, and performance. You can adjust browser settings to limit cookies, which may affect site functionality.

  8. Data Security
    We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. Despite efforts, no system is completely secure.

  9. Data Retention
    We retain information as needed to provide Services, for legitimate business purposes, to comply with legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by record type and legal requirements.

  10. Your Rights

  11. Children's Privacy
    Our Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

  12. International Use
    We operate in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer of your information to the U.S.

  13. Changes to this Policy
    We may modify this Policy prospectively. The updated Effective Date will be posted.
